is PTF? Parent Teacher Fellowship is a group of committed parents and teachers/staff working together to support our children and provide them with valuable tools for life, ministry, and mission. Moms in Touch – Moms meet weekly to pray for our children and school throughout the year. For more information contact Bonnie at bonnievh@att.net. (Preschool–8th Grade) Christmas Reception – Volunteers help decorate, prepare and serve refreshments after the school Christmas Program on Thursday, December 15, 2011.Spelling Bee - Volunteers are needed to assist our Spelling Bee coordinator with judging, keeping records, etc. The competition begins in early December with regional Spelling Bee finals on January 20, 2012. (Grades 2nd-8th Grade) Book Fair – Volunteers set up and assist with book sales during the week of our Book Fair, April 2-5, 2012. Our Librarian leads this event and coordinates with the volunteers. Staff Appreciation – This is our way of showing our appreciation to our teachers and staff. Every month different classes host a breakfast for the staff and teachers. In addition, PTF hosts a yearly catered lunch to recognize our staff and teachers for their dedication. Staff Appreciation week will be May 2-6, 2012. VCS Play Day – A day dedicated to play and non-stop fun for our kids. This event is our tradional end of year celebration. Volunteers needed to help facilitate the games, activities and food. (Preschool - 5th Grade) Yearbook – Designated volunteers work throughout the year to create the school yearbook. Year book photo parents are also needed for each class. Preschool, elementary, and middle school create their own yearbook. Promotion Chapel/8th Grade Graduation – Graduation Ceremony for our students. Elementary (K-7th) will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2012 at 8:30am and 8th Grade will be that evening. Volunteers are needed to help decorate, prepare and serve refreshments and clean up. |

does PTF meet? PTF volunteers are working on various projects for fundraisers and sponsored events that occur all throughout the year. Please contact the PTF at PTF@vcfanaheim.com Where is PTF located? There is a PTF office located close by the school office and related administrators, but active volunteers are in every classroom! Why do we have PTF? The PTF supports our VCS staff, our children, and our school. How can I get involved? It’s easy! Just ask! We have many opportunities for parents to get involved. We are always looking for volunteers to help with PTF sponsored events. Contact any PTF Action Team Member, teacher, or the school office and we will get you plugged in!
