On March 20, 2009, Mr. Okada took Natilee Pinedo, Norman Hasso and Kristine Schmidbauer to this year’s Tech Fair. They had a unique opportunity to compete against other Christian school from the Orange and Riverside County areas. There were 5 main technology areas being judged Multimedia, Desktop Publishing, Video Presentation, Pod Cast and Web Design.
Our students did great! Natilee received an Excellent Ribbon for 2nd Place and Kristine received an Excellent Ribbon for 3rd Place in the Jr. High Division for Desktop Publishing. Norman Hasso received a Superior Ribbon for 1st Place and the “BEST IN SHOW” Ribbon for his Multimedia Powerpoint presentation. Congratulations on a job well done! Vineyard
Christian Middle School strives for excellence in education. The
Apostle Paul writes in Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do,
whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Here at the
Vineyard Middle School we are excited by the calling and the challenge
to educate our students in the truth of God’s word, His creation,
and the tools needed to become effective people in the world today. At VCMS we meet these needs by having
a balanced curriculum that sets high academic standards in an environment
that assures security, creativity, acceptance and love.
The curriculum is the medium through
which the student is oriented to life. The curriculum includes studies
from science, language arts, mathematics, history and geography,
physical education, technology, the arts, and the Bible. Theology
and Christian training are not only included in the course content,
but furnish the orientation and philosophical framework for the
study of every subject.
