This last Friday, May 16, it was a battle of the BIGS in a re-match of last years Division 1 Championship!! Fridays game did not let anyone down. This year being just the Vanguards second year playing boys volleyball, the Vanguards got revenge and swept the Mariners Dolphins 2-0; 25-19, 27-25. This game crowned the Vanguards League AND County Champs as they finish in first place in CALOC League play and then went undefeated in the playoffs to be crowned County Champs. They wrap up their season at a perfect 9 - 0. Impressive for only their second season ever participating in Boys Volleyball. In their seven league matches and two playoff games (best of three games) the Vanguards swept every team they played. The boys did not lose a game, let alone a match all season. Friday nights game was a true test of their character and athletic ability, as Mariners took us to extended play in the second game where the Vanguards finally pulled out a stunning 27-25 come from behind win. If the boys were to lose a game it would have been that game, but the Vanguards refused to lose and continued to play together, where eventually they played as if they new they were the team to beat!! It really showed that to beat the Vanguards Volleyball team, you would have to execute perfectly, because these boys just flat out refused to quit. A Pizza Party for Parents and Student/athletes followed the Championship win where the team captains Garrett Osuna and Jared Carver presented Coach Furey with a gift basket. Great fellowship, food and memories were an intregal part of the evening festivities. Thank-you all for your generosity and the most memorable season ever. Thanks for your participation and support, Bill Furey Boys Coach & Athletic Director Vineyard 14 - Mariners 12
WE WIN, WE WIN in a thriller! Vineyard Christian School has now won 4 straight Football Championships, with a 14 - 12 win over a very tough Mariners team at Vanguard Field in front of at least 300+ fans. It was truly an amazing effort from the players to the support we received from all the Cheerleaders, teachers, school staff, alumni, students and parents. The Vanguards are now 39 - 2 over the last four years. Thank you all for a truly amazing season. Coach Furey Camps |

Vineyard
Christian Middle School strives for excellence in education. The
Apostle Paul writes in Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do,
whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Here at the
Vineyard Middle School we are excited by the calling and the challenge
to educate our students in the truth of God’s word, His creation,
and the tools needed to become effective people in the world today.
At VCMS we meet these needs by having
a balanced curriculum that sets high academic standards in an environment
that assures security, creativity, acceptance and love. Before
